Safety & Legal Notice

At G.O.T. Orchards, the safety, dignity, and well-being of every participant, volunteer, partner, and visitor are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment where people of all abilities and generations can connect through shared experiences.

Participant Safety

All activities are designed with accessibility, inclusion, and participant well-being in mind. While we strive to provide a safe environment, participation in outdoor programs and orchard activities involves inherent risks, including uneven terrain, changing weather conditions, insects, and the use of gardening tools.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe footwear.
  • Follow staff and volunteer instructions at all times.
  • Inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs before participating.
  • Supervise children or individuals in their care when applicable.

Accessibility & Inclusion

G.O.T. Orchards welcomes individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and ages. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations whenever possible to ensure everyone can participate meaningfully and safely.

If you require accessibility support or have specific accommodation needs, please contact us before your visit.

Volunteer Expectations

Volunteers play an important role in fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. We expect all volunteers to treat participants with kindness, respect, patience, and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.

Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during programs and community events to help share our mission and celebrate our community. If you or someone in your care prefers not to appear in photographs or promotional materials, please notify our team before participating.

Liability

By participating in G.O.T. Orchards programs and events, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with outdoor and community-based activities. G.O.T. Orchards is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged during participation.
